I wonder why is it that its always girls who fall into love triangles over boys in anime. Perhaps something that doesn't happen as often in real life is much more entertaining? Or maybe its just because girls are cuter that way?

I finally decided to open another 2 figmas, namely Kagamine Rin and Len. These two are the mascots of the new pair of voices released after Hatsune Miku for Vocaloid 2, and I must say Max Factory has done a good job in making these two figmas quite loveable indeed (even though one's a boy).

When I first started watching Toradora I thought all it was was just another moe flick like Hayate no Gotoku with no real story or another novel adaptation that was just made to sell merchandise licenses with like Zero no Tsukaima or a failure of an anime with a rushed ending like Shana (and ZnT). Contrary to my expectations, it turned out to be really good. And its not just good because it exceeded my very low expectations for it, but it was good because it actually impressed me more than CLANNAD, which was made by the gods at KyoAni itself. It turns out even commoners can shine.

I like how the story continues beyond the scope of the movies, but episode 7 seemed to be a complete disconnect from what the story was like last episode. All of a sudden, the world below didn't matter anymore, and all that mattered was the heavens. Also, all of a sudden the characters turned from blimps to wimps, and all of a sudden there's a backstory that really made no sense to me.

I put off Munto for a while after watching the movie. But after watching episodes 2 and 3, episode 3 especially, I could finally see KyoAni's magic come back and bring the series back to life. The only reason I started watching this again was because I heard lolikit say that KyoAni sexified the anime. Fanservice finally? This I HAD to see.

Somehow I just keep going back to watching Shugo Chara Season 1. Its just so memorable, you want to live it over and over again. In all honesty, I think that season 1 was still better than season 2. Making season 2 any more exciting or memorable would be quite a tall order considering the amount of fillers aired so far, and how incongruous the story has become. Not to mention the stupendous amount of ads and merchandise commercials that surround their airing these days (and the horrible Sentai-style Heart Unlocks >.>;). I want my old Amu back...

Sometimes when you're sitting on a train you look at some wonderful things and wonder what Akari would say when she saw it. Well, if you own the DVDs, there are nice groups who produce anime encodes for the PSP and DS (with subtitles). Now you don't have to mutter the words "HAZUKASHII SERIFU KINSHI" to yourself while you try and imagine the scene where Akari treats herself to the amazing views of Neo-Venezia

Obviously, you'll be watching them low-res, so it would be ideal if you don't strain your eyes to see fine details, and just relax and enjoy the show.
