There was a Nico-only doujin event in UDX yesterday which was basically the day after her birthday. Naturally we celebrated the birthday there too. Nicotan basically was written as にこ誕, which was short for ニコの誕生日 which means Nico's birthday. This is actually the first time the puniket guys held this event so it was bound to be awesome. Also because of its impeccable timing.

With the advent of my Facebook account, my blog has regressed into a state of neglect, so I intend to post more of my stuff now on this blog instead. Last weekend I attended Anime Japan 2015 which was held at Tokyo Big Sight. After a whole night of endless karaoke and otaku shenanigans, the first train was not to hard to take, so I arrived early for the queue.

I often ponder at the level of complexity our society has achieved, that whole buildings and large amounts of resources get spent on training and hiring people just to manage the collection, distribution and storage of resources of our country. While most of us are familiar with government red tape, this anime gives us a refreshing look at what happens behind the counter at a government department in Japan.

It suddenly came to my attention that Mysterious Girlfriend X was going to air as anime starting April 7th on Tokyo MX. Why is it such big news to me? Well, I've been busy, and I've been following the manga about the mystery of adolescence. I'm late to the show, but this show's pretty awesome. It's about the lives of a boy who's struggling to let go of his past, except a ghost continues to haunt him about it. It's actually pretty decent and touches on some very interesting bits of how people feel about their childhood, nostalgia and past lives.

This was a 2008 show about a guy called Negishi that went to Tokyo to study and in the hopes of starting a boyband where he would be able to sing his favorite songs, a.k.a. light R&B pop. What happened instead was he ended up signing himself up to a recording company that did exclusively death metal music, called Detroit Metal City. With hilarious results.
There might be spoilers after the jump.

At first sight, Yosuga no Sora seems like an innocent anime like most others based off eroges... A world where everyone is gone except a boy and a whole bunch of girls. And a very moody feel of love and romance etc. The first part was the standard introduce all the girls thing:
