Yes! It's that day again! Since its her birthday today we're going to spend some time together eating cake and enjoying old episodes of HnG together. Its amazing how quickly time flies by, and it seems like only yesterday when I posted a happy birthday post to her last year. (yada yada + all other generic comments for annual events). Look at the Akari smile. She took that from Akari. I just know it. Sora no Woto this episode seems to have quite successfully compressed several stories into a short twenty minutes, and still made it fun to watch. Don't ask me why. I don't know. I'mt too busy realizing that Yui Kanata is starting to grow on me.

No matter how you look at it, Kuroko is the dorm's resident squid. She gets twisted and folded till her bones make sounds and she gets thrown around like a fresh jellyfish. Not to mention her twintails exaggerate the look of a dead squid.

I finally got around to unpacking my suitcase which was completely filled with my figures. Besides the 12 books of doujins I got from the upstairs of Toranoana, one of my favorite shops in Akihabara. I also peered up the many stairwells to find figures that I could not find on online sites that struck my fancy, and I came across quite a few.

Since my trip to Japan last week was in the beginning of the year, the shops in Akiba had stockpiles of magazines. Among these magazines, several come wrapped together with little boxes of goodies. One of them was Dragon magazine that came with a Sakurano Kurimu nendo. I don't know what got into my head at the time I saw it but I actually had second thoughts. If I hadn't run back to buy this, I probably would not be able to imagine the regrets I would carry out of Japan.
