Its March 3rd again, and the festival of girls. But there has always been a persona that has been close to my heart. She does not really even stand out in terms of popularity or significance, but perhaps it is because that perfection was something that I have never been able to attain.

One of the greatest parts of her character has always been her balance against Hayate, and that was a significant part of why I enjoyed watching her so much. Perhaps it is for these reasons birthdays allow a character some life outside of their shows.

Yes! It's that day again! Since its her birthday today we're going to spend some time together eating cake and enjoying old episodes of HnG together. I finally got around to unpacking my suitcase which was completely filled with my figures. Besides the 12 books of doujins I got from the upstairs of Toranoana, one of my favorite shops in Akihabara. I also peered up the many stairwells to find figures that I could not find on online sites that struck my fancy, and I came across quite a few.

Hayate 24's main feature is a very cute very chibi Hinagiku. Not so much the tsundere character but more the altophobic Hinagiku. She gets dragged around a lot this episode so its not really appealing. I prefer her when she's a bit more assertive. Not that much blushing either, so there wasn't much appeal on that side.

It was, and still is amazing and shocking how often people ignore the elephant/tiger in the room. If I didn't know better I'd say this is satire for real life. An example comes out of the internet and webmaster talk itself. Many people talk about SEO (Search Engine Optimization for those of you who aren't so inclined) of their websites. They hold conferences and talk about Yahoo, Google and Microsoft's search engines. The thing is, when people talk about search engines, they really only mean one thing. Google.

The fact that Google dominated this side of the internet so completely and so quickly is something most people cannot yet fathom. It's so great, so overpowering, like how dubs are so horrible, that it is in the rebellious nature of humans to deny it. No one really wants to admit it. But when I say search engine, the first thing that comes to mind, is Google no matter where you live.
