Today I went to pick Shana up from school. No, she's actually in high school, but she was waiting on the primary school side. It was Sunday but for some reason she had to attend some sort of student council meeting. I'd imagine it would be troublesome for kids to have to wear their uniforms even on a Sunday.

A while ago I managed to get my hands on a Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi game package that included a figma. Due to the fact that it was so hard to get, I felt hard pressed to open it. But I decided that it would be as good as a paperweight if I didn't get to play with it and just looked at it so I finally tore open the shrinkwrap and took her out.

Haruhi seems to be practicing her music hard out now after watching K-ON several times over. I feel worried. Shouldn't she be sitting quietly and looking pretty like other ordinary figmas?
I just got my hands on two new figmas. These are Haruhi and Mikuru as Cheerleaders. The figmas turned out to be moderately exciting when I opened them. They are more like an incremental update to the existing Haruhi line of figmas. But updates are always good since they make all sorts of new possibilities for photocomics.

I must say that after watching the first EP of K-ON, I feel like I was exposed to a sudden rush of pure win again. Not because the story was good or anything, or that KyoAni's art strikes again, but because its about a band, and the ending theme Don't Say "Lazy" is fukken awesome!
