My recent infatuation with Yuu has prompted me to open one of those figma boxes I hadn't bothered to open until now. Strangely I wonder where all the excitement of opening these boxes went. I guess its just a transient thing.

And here I was thinking that Princess Lover was the best show this season. Little did I know we were in for some epic rock breaking and soul harvesting in Tokyo this season with Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 shaking up our 5.1 surround speakers. I don't know if there's any hype around this but it certainly isn't enough. I've got high expectations for this show.

A particular trailer in March caught my eye and made me anticipate this series. Princess Lover is an adaptation of an eroge (again) that has that generic harem (again) and lots of rich girls (again). Finally, KyoAni answered our prayers and gave us a nice little Kyou episode. Although I wished they'd make it longer, like a movie or something instead of just a short 23 minute episode. Even so, despite being a full episode, it wasn't really as touching as the Tomoyo episode. It was missing some kind of magic. Even so, I'm still happy to be able to see Kyou one more time.
