New anime figures come out almost daily. Some that I recognize and some that I don't. Some are quite nice, some are fugly as the bird goo that dropped on my car a few days ago. However, anime figures have recently caught my eyes, as some of them are actually quite good-looking. They almost bring the character to life. The four pictures of this post are pictures of figures from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. And God they look frigging awesome.

I'm sure everyone has heard of this "alien" and object of admiration of geeks and computer programmers, and savior of the day (usually). Sheis Yuki Nagato from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, just in case you guys still don't know. Why did I decided to post this picture? I dunno. I did it on a whim. Possibly because she hacked the Computer Club's dodgy game and killed Asakura Ryoko during the fight to save Kyon. Or maybe its because she is the object of all lolicon fantasies and (don't get me wrong, I'm not one of them ^_^;) has her own figure selling on Amazon for 5000+ yen. Whatever awesomeness she potentially possesses, one thing is for certain. Hundreds and hundreds of doujinshi out there is about her and sometimes her and Kyon, which I'm not particularly fond of, since I am a KyonxHaruhi fan. However, I've posted some random comics of her, when I never managed to write a post like yesterday. However, I don't feel particularly motivated today because it is cold and I have a room to tidy up, computer(s) to reformat, DVDs to burn and anime to translate. So going out today wasn't such a good idea after all o.o. Oh well, at least I got to have Nasi Lemak again today. so here's another comic to keep you all entertained
Today I've come across some really interesting things while translating Negima!? and I realized that, hell, I don't think we can live without this eh. Well what's it? Well you guessed right. It's how Japanese people pronounce their dates. Ever wondered how you wanna impress a Japanese girl by telling her your birthday in Japanese? Or even your horoscope? Well, this post is all about that.

As a result of some extreme programming for my project this afternoon, and another episode of Zero no Tsukaima and Today in class 5-2, I have become very lazy and thus decided not to blog too much today. Instead, I will post up a little doujin comic strip I had lying around for all of your entertainment. ^^ Enjoy
Waking up to a cold morning isn't my idea of fun, but when you got a really nice breakfast up and running, the morning just becomes
sooo much better. I love spaghetti with Hash Browns and eggs. Always brightens up my day ^_^
If there is one thing I find interesting about Hayate no Gotoku, is the number of easter eggs I can expect to see in the show. In at least one or two parts of the story, I get to see some random reference to another anime again. Today however, this was a bit unexpected. When Hayate said he prefers 2-D girls, I was like... がーん, and I saw something that I thought God forbade to be ever shown again. Anyway, today's story is relatively meaningless, save for the fact that Hayate has not caught up on his life before Nagi and that all of us almost forgot that there was a dere character in the first episode. Read on for a really really REALLY big spoiler.

I have become attracted to anime feature films lately. First 5 cm/s now this. Anyway. I don't watch crap, and it's about time I actually said something about this movie. In short, recommended. It's a romance/comedy/sci-fi film and a definite must-see if you liked 5cm/s.

Alright! Time for another update. Today, I've wasted more time playing games! XD It's fun tho. Though it took us a whole day to play only 2 games of Gem Tower Defense on Warcraft III. Oh my. Another day wasted on gaming. When will this insanity end? Though, that wasn't the fun part. The fun part was having n00bicity actually play Hungry Hungry Felhounds and Sliding Bunnies. All of which you can find on epicwar.com or google, if you just search for them. I might put the links up if anyone is interested? Sliding bunnies is about bunnies trying to get out of somewhere full of ice. But they can't walk on the ice, so all they can do is slide on the ice and steer, through wolves and other evil obstacles of course. Hungry Hungry Felhounds is a game like tag. A felhound will eat the person who is "tagged" if he gets close enough to eat him. So the person who's "it" must tag another person, which isn't as easy as it sounds... but that's where the fun is XD. Anyway, while I go wash my dishes, here are some cute screenies from Sliding bunnies.
Two bunnies kissing... How cute <3

Alright. So I met this nice guy on IRC who told me that my BG was buggy. Yeah. I'm sure all of you noticed now. It's not the two blue stripes anymore. It's fixed. Anyway, check out his blog. He blogs about anime when they come out and gives his opinions on it and whether it's worth watching or not. A good place to start if you wanna know whether or not some new thing on fansub.tv is good or not, or if you are an aspiring hikikomori/otaku.
I suppose everyone has watched Hayate no Gotoku episode 11 by now. If you were wondering what he was talking about just before the OP in the show, well its a very old show called Hikari Sentai Masked Man. I remember watching it when I was around 10 or 11, when TV2 had it dubbed in Malay. I can't believe I actually remembered the stuff they said. Although it was dubbed in Malay, the opening was still Japanese with subtitles, so I suddenly felt a sense of nostalgia when I heard what Hayate said. XD.
