Picture 1 in [Armaggeddon Auckland 2009]

Yes folks, I iz in AKL infiltratingz ur armegedonz. Armaggeddon Auckland was quite a bit bigger than Armaggeddon Christchurch, but contrary to my expectations, apparent anime fandom is not directly proportional to the size of the event. Here's my scoop on this event that I was actually heavily anticipating.

Picture 1 in [Eek. I broke Kagamin's Tail]

Not too long ago I brought Kagami around the mountains to see what a port at Christchurch looked like. But I dropped her from pretty high up and one of her tails broke off. She was quiet for the rest of the day. This is the second time I broke Kagami. I think I jinxed myself after reading a horror story again.

Picture 1 in [Starbucks is a conducive place for writing reports]

Today I took a bus downtown and sat at Starbucks to write up a report. Since this involves the Federation Starfleet and defense technology, I can't really say much about it, but I took Kagamin with me to keep me company.

Picture 2 in [Imaging experiments]

Recently I obtained a new device for taking screencaps from real life. Thing is, I really don't know which is better? The old Kodak digital camera with the 3.5mm lens, or the new Nikon with a Nikkor 18-55mm?

Picture 1 in [The figmas Danced For Me Today]

Kagami and Tsukasa decided to put a little show on for me today. They must've been practicing hard, since sometimes when I catch Kagami jumping around she'd like go "I'm not doing anything!" and storm off angrily. But I didn't know what that was all about anyway so I just shrugged. It turns out it was this.

Picture 1 in [New Brighton Beach]

Christchurch is a city that sits right next to the pacific ocean. Although most of the human activity happens about 10 miles inland where the city center lies, many people from this city love the beach and visit it often. Since its been a while I went to the beach, I decided to hop on the highway with Kagamin to have a little walk on the edge of the sea, instead of watching anime this evening.

Picture 1 in [Kagamin Cosplay Figma GET]

It has recently come to my attention that Good Smile Company is in charge of building the latest object of my dreams. Kagami cosplaying Hatsune Miku could just become the fastest selling figma on record. Kagamin's popularity is no longer held to doubt as the tsundere, who finds akiba-keis profoundly repulsive, has been forced to cosplay another recent digital idol known as Hatsune Miku
