Yes folks, I iz in AKL infiltratingz ur armegedonz. Armaggeddon Auckland was quite a bit bigger than Armaggeddon Christchurch, but contrary to my expectations, apparent anime fandom is not directly proportional to the size of the event. Here's my scoop on this event that I was actually heavily anticipating.

So yesterday Seto's encounter with a box seems to have produced some monster drops. One of those monster drops was a Kagami cosplaying as Miku nendroid. I have said many times before that Kagamin's cosplay of Hatsune Miku is such absolute win, it might take another 1 billion years before another race dominates the Earth and creates something more moe than this. In other words, Seto has very high LUK. I should give her the +10 LUK brooch of Nehalem sometime.

This week's K-ON features some awesome cosplay. I love cosplay. I once said that "cosplay should be taught in schools", and I mean it. If I was the principal of a school and I catch one of my school clubs doing cosplays, they are going to get a big nice hug and wad of club budget from me. Though, I will also make sure it will not lead to my getting arrested.

Yes. I got this for some weeks now. I just didn't have the time to do a complete fawn and fanboy review over it. BUT NOW I DO WAHAHAHA. My camera's flash is dying so bear with the darkness of the photos. You can increase the gamma on your screen to see it better if that helps.

Today Nagato and Kyonko noticed a certain anomaly in the room. Looks like Haruhi is getting bored and invoking her powers again. Come to think of it, it has been a while since Haruhi stepped up to the plate. Maybe its because of a certain mid-year exam crunch going on, or maybe she just found something interesting to do at the time?

After trying hard to work with what I've got, I've come to the realization that I may need more extra figmas than I thought. I'm sure Kagamin wouldn't like Konata laughing at her after begging her to dress up like that. I mean, who would?
Today me and my friends attended a fledgling quasi-anime-oriented convention since it was the only one that had full-fledged cosplay events and big crowds and stalls with decent amount of stock with anime-related stuff. This is the third time its been held here in Christchurch. I wrote a short post on the one last year too.

Yes, that's right. I watch Index for the fanservice, and I think a lot of you do too. Episode 22 is quite low on fanservice however, are we finally getting to the serious bit in the series? Or are they just trying to make us buy figures for pouring condensed milk on?

Tsundere x Awesome = Win Win Win. The Epitome of Beauty and Harmony of the Universe has finally come upon us! Tsundere princess Kagami has finally appeared in our physical world mixed in with the internet idol Hatsune Miku, the current Goddess of Sound! Finally tangible, we must all praise Good Smile Company highly for creating such an awesome figma. Let us not forget Kyoto Animation too, which pulled off one of the most amazing cosplay mixups in anime history! Kagami and Miku is a harmonization akin to the combined singing of the Muses. More pics after the jump.

It has recently come to my attention that Good Smile Company is in charge of building the latest object of my dreams. Kagami cosplaying Hatsune Miku could just become the fastest selling figma on record. Kagamin's popularity is no longer held to doubt as the tsundere, who finds akiba-keis profoundly repulsive, has been forced to cosplay another recent digital idol known as Hatsune Miku
